So what's new for 2026! After a really busy year working with Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Trust raising money  through gifts showcasing the Gift of Life Butterfly and sales of Chorley Calendar, it was a busy run up to Christmas too keeping stock flowing and attending Christmas Fairs. It is a lovely time of year and I love catching up with customers old and new.

So now comes the quiet time where it gives me chance to take stock, look at new images and ideas for gifts and the next years calendar images. If the weather is cold and crisp it allows me time out to walk and take winter images which are always hard to take as the light is usually pretty miserable. I usually clear out old the stock at each outlet and have a mini sale then I am good to go. 

Currently I already have the new images for the 2027 calendar but these are always open to change.

Sometimes, its customers that have a special request for an image to appear as a month in the calendar and I always try to accommodate this as places are important to people and often hold special memories.

I have already spent the last few weeks printing and packing some new mounted prints and small gifts and they are now in situ at both outlets.

When Spring appears I will probably look at doing a Pop Up shop at my home base as these are a good way to show products and gain new clients and see a few regulars which is always nice. 

I will also being attending the three days of Chorley Flower Show at the end of July which is a favourite of mine.

My home base is upstairs in the gift area at Barrica Wines. As this is a substantial display area there is a much larger range of gifts than at my other outlet Village Green Tea Room Rivington. There is a large selection of  12 " x 10" mounted prints featuring flora, nature and landscapes. The landscapes are mainly local, The Lake District though some are further afield.

The gift range covers very popular keepsake cards, Vision Blox frames both large and small, coasters, magnets and keyrings. All have a variety of images to suit all tastes.

The wall display showcases a selection of framed prints of landscapes and flora. These frames vary in size and colour to suit the image.

So if you are local to Chorley or Rivington or just visiting pop in to either outlet to have a browse.
