I am often asked how did you get into landscape and nature photography? To be honest, it was always there with me, alongside my love of nature and fell walking. I find it hard to remember a time when I wasn't clicking away at some beautiful landscape , flora or wildlife. First with a little Canon point and shoot then a 35 mm film camera then my beloved Canon DSLR. As for taking my photography more seriously, that came gradually as more people wanted to buy my work. Even more, surprising to me, was that they were not just friends and family! So the journey began, slowly, in fact, very slowly as I tentatively dipped my amateur toes in the frightening world of semi-professional photography. Still learning , still evolving, still loving it! the only thing that has changed is the rucksack has got bigger and heavier to accommodate my kit !
